The walk with Him :)11月15日 HelloHi people, I am back. Yes, almost 3 month without any post, will too busy be a good enough excuse for you all? For how many people asked me about my blog, I was actually pretty surprised for how many of you been reading my stuff. Thanks for the attention
 . Though not sure if you noticed at all, I have been updating bible verses here quite consistent (on your left, in my profile section), welcome reading - even better - memorizing them  !For those of you who I didn't tell in person, I was in HK for a week and main land China for another 2 weeks. I appreciated the longest vacation I had since I started working. I love HK! The food/drink/street/transportation/culture/shopping/TV shows... Oh, and the Christian stores there, I spent a lot of money there and still could buy more if I had more time. Thanks to my lovely sister S for hosting me there
 , made my trip a lot easier and more fun, we are housemates even in HK, ha ha. And it was so good to see Mr.A again, thank you for spent many time with me during my short trip. Keep on seizing your life! 奧順柏(Ocean Park) was fun and beautiful, and the fact it was free for me made it more fun, 感謝感謝 !!! From now on, I will go to HK every year, seriously, once at least. I am not sure if I will enjoy living there (although I would love to try), but I am sure I love to go there as often as I can. I will go back to China again in February, for spending Chinese new year with my family. I will make a stop in HK, very short though (not enough vacation time lar...). I really need to plan my time very well in order to get things I need there. Thank God for granted me another vacation to China and offered me great flight tickets!
Studying Romans in this year BSF. Good sharing, good lecture, good group. I will share much more with you all later when I have more time to write, in very near future, I pormise
 !8月27日 執事BSF 就要開學了﹐因為我的"中國之旅"我會miss三次上堂﹐真是可惜!這年的BSF會學習<<羅馬書>>﹐這是我在整本聖經中最鐘意的一本書之一﹐也是我讀的最多次的一本書﹐真是非常期待和眾姊妹一起的學習。羅馬書是保羅十三本書信中最特出最重要的一本﹐我曾讀過馬丁路德將之稱為"聖經中的聖經"﹐是非常之重要(但是在聖經中的每本書都重要啦)﹐對我個人來說﹐每次讀羅馬書或多或少都有屬靈上的得著﹐感謝神。 下個月我也會錯過教會的會員大會﹐主要是選舉新執事﹐雖然會不在場﹐但是對於本教會的運作過程是非常信任﹐只是自己盡不到作會員的責任有點可惜。說到執事，在看到羅馬書第十六章的時候﹐開頭兩句就說到 "我對你們舉薦我們的姊妹非比，他是堅革哩教會中的女執事。 請你們為主接待他，合乎聖徒的體統。他在何事上要你們幫助，你們就幫助他，因他素來幫助許多人，也幫助了我"﹐雖然只有簡短的兩節經文﹐但是可以看到保羅對她的明顯的推崇和舉荐﹐對她的信任和親切﹐我想他們一定有很好的同工﹐非比也一定是位好執事 (我曾看過史學家的報導﹐說羅馬書是保羅託非比親身帶到羅馬去的)。當然聖經中清晰的陳述了作執事的資格 - 提前3:8-13:"作執事的，也是如此：必須端莊，不一口兩舌，不好喝酒，不貪不義之財；要存清潔的良心，固守真道的奧祕。這等人也要先受試驗，若沒有可責之處，然後叫他們作執事。女執事也是如此：必須端莊，不說讒言，有節制，凡事忠心。執事只要作一個婦人的丈夫，好好管理兒女和自己的家。因為善作執事的，自己就得到美好的地步，並且在基督耶穌裡的真道上大有膽量"。我認為﹐執事應該在生活﹐家庭﹐聚會﹐愛心﹐奉獻﹐各方面都作群羊的榜樣。我們教會的執事們都非常好﹐和他們一起同工好開心﹐從他們身上真是聞到主耶穌的馨香。我會為會員大會禱告 - 能選出和神心意的僕人﹐願人人都有感恩的心﹐謙卑順服並且忠於職守。8月24日 我們也當彼此相愛Your love is extravagant

Yes indeed Lord, Your love is extravagant, Your friendship it is intimate... What can/should we do to return Lord's extravagant love, to be Lord's intimate friend, to make Him happy? I was reading 1 John again, "主為我們捨命，我們從此就知道何為愛；我們也當為弟兄捨命。" "我們相愛，不要只在言語和舌頭上，總要在行為和誠實上。" " 神的命令就是叫我們信他兒子耶穌基督的名，且照他所賜給我們的命令彼此相愛。" "親愛的弟兄阿，神既是這樣愛我們，我們也當彼此相愛。" "人若說我愛神，卻恨他的弟兄，就是說謊話的；不愛他所看見的弟兄，就不能愛沒有看見的神。愛神的，也當愛弟兄，這是我們從神所受的命令。"...... It is pretty clear what God is trying to teach us. Our love to brothers and sisters should be extravagant as how Lord loves us. Jesus paid much too high a price for us to pick and choose who we "should" or who we "want to" or who we "feel comfortable to" love...
I just had my birthday (Aug 23rd), I thank God for loving me 26 years and all the blessings. One of the things I promised God I will do is to truly love/care people that I usually won't or don't feel comfortable with. Lord is working in my heart and I pray I won't disappoint Him. Brothers and sisters, please remind me when I am not doing a good job...
8月20日 馬大與馬利亞今日有很好的 quite time﹐整理了一下自己的思緒﹐想想有些是可以筆錄下來的﹐希望和弟兄姊妹共勉。想到事奉﹐想到怎麼樣事奉﹐想到怎樣才是討神喜悅的事奉﹐不禁就想到馬大與馬利亞﹐也有點拙見想在此抒發一下。 其實每次想到馬利亞在主腳前聆聽主道就覺得真是一幅極美的畫面﹐想來在忙亂喧擾的環境中﹐她居然能心無旁騖的聽主的道﹐這種見到主耶穌就忘記了一切﹑只見耶穌不見別人﹑抓緊時間和主相處的態度﹐真是我所要追求的標杆。對主來說﹐這種接待方式因該是主最喜愛的吧﹐主也說過 "我的食物﹐就是遵行差我來者的旨意﹐作成祂的工。"。再說馬利亞的香膏獻主﹐得到主的稱讚﹐我覺得馬大確是做事的人﹐但是她也喜歡說﹐馬利亞卻是作而不說﹐她對主的奉獻是安靜的﹐雖然其他人都不了解或讚同﹐但是這都不妨礙她做﹐最後自有主替她出頭﹐主耶穌真是知音。
至於馬大﹐其實她對主身體的照顧真是體貼的﹐我想她也一定是很忙的﹐要做飯招待很多人﹐又不想怠慢任何賓客。但是主耶穌不是一般的客人﹐她忘了能滿足主心意的就是與主有親密的交通﹐聽主的話﹐所以最後受稱讚的反而是什麼也不做的馬利亞。我們在事奉主的態度上是否也犯了這種毛病呢 ?手忙腳亂的自己計劃如何事奉主﹐卻沒有停下來思想主的心意是什麼﹐祂要我們如何事奉祂?是否見過有弟兄姊妹忙於張羅飯菜﹐而不坐下來聽道或錯失段落的講道而耽誤了靈性的長進﹔或是團契職員忙於籌劃各種活動而把靈修的時間奪去了﹔我們是不是常常以"工作"來代表事奉?...... 我覺得事奉只有一件﹐就是討主的喜悅。主有提醒馬大說"你為許多的事思慮煩擾"﹐可見她的心內並不是安寧的﹐也因此才邊做邊有抱怨。其實馬大姊妹不是壞﹐不可以用該隱亞伯兩兄弟的模型來對比馬大和馬利亞﹐教會需要預備油的也需要點燈的﹐需要馬大的服事和馬利亞的安靜與等候。如果是馬利亞型的﹐不如學一些馬大的服務﹐參與各種事務的服事。如果是馬大型的﹐也學習馬利亞的安靜﹐才不會失去那上好的福份。 (個人觀點﹐如有不妥﹐歡迎指正。 8月8日 Hi...Ok, update time! For all my "fans" out there, I am sorry for the long-time-no-updates-because-I-am-too-busy period. And I don't want to talk about how ugly the MSN space became, because you can easily tell how much it is worse than before, but luckily my background is still ok. Actually I don't really care, as long as it is still functioning well I will stay here, the most important thing is you guys can read my blog
 .The coming weekend is our church annual summer conf. time. I am longing to hear Pastor Shen's messages, last year he really touched me, no kidding, after a whole year, I still remember his messages, for me he is such a beautiful testimony and a person that Christ-like. I pray God will grant him good health so we can hear God's words from him - one of His faithful servants again. And I hope I will have good rest there too, sleep well and have qulity quite times during the conf.
Oh, for those of you don't know yet, I am going to HK/China next month. I will be out the whole Sep. I think this will be my longest vacation time since I started working. If possible please pray for my coming up trip and I will get the visa to go to China. HK baby, I am coming!!!
 7月14日 Work IssuesSince yesterday, we have been experiencing problems with the databases that support the LMS. As a result, LMS has been unavailable since yesterday and is still down today. And we also have problems with the databases that support scanning services... Urg... I am part of the "fixing team" (although I don't do much for these two issues 7月12日 疼痛的身體Had crabs last night for dinner. Result is stomach hurting later on… I know the crabs were very fresh, so I guess the reason might be because crabs are "cold" sort of food and I didn't have ginger go with it when I eat them.
Talk about crabs, for pick them up, I had to walk like 20 blocks (10 blocks each way), and I wasn't wearing the right shoes so both my feet got blisters from the long walk. Painful but I can handle it. Glad my guests liked those crabs, 1 John 3:16 says we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers (我們也當為弟兄捨命), so walk 20 blocks for them it is like nothing Sore right arm and right leg from playing badminton Monday night, it was so much fun though, I will go play every week from now on. I am only hoping that my right arm won't be too much thicker/stronger than my left arm since I don't use left arm for playing badminton |
